We had a wonderful, albeit busy, Christmas this year. Christmas Eve we had dinner with the Kons side where the kids saw Santa across the street (no, seriously). Kyrie, Lari and Will were so excited and Will kept shouting "oh my gosh." Drew was a little overwhelmed with all the commotion. WE attended service and then headed over to Great Grandma Starr's house for a quick visit before we had to leave to get the kids down for bedtime. We put out cookies and milk for Santa and Will went right to sleep.
Christmas morning, Will was ready to open gifts and he ran into the living room ripping into the first present he saw (thankfully it was for him). Drew liked to watch Will open the gifts. Later that morning we headed over to the Estes house for some more Christmas celebration. Will kept saying, "grandma, what present is next." The boys napped and we had a great dinner. The following night we reunited with the Kons family to exchange our gifts (there was not much time to do so on Christmas Eve). Saturday, our friends the Lisowski's and their twins Xander and Noah and newest addition, Sera, joined us for a morning playtime. Wow, it was crazy but lots of fun to see them since we have not seen the boys since their 1st bday.
I have to say I am glad that Christmas is over-its exhausting for parents! Grandparents and aunts and uncles were all so generous and we made some wonderful memories with our boys. Only 362 days until next Christmas!!!!!
