Saw the doctor today and we are now at 2cm and 70% effaced. It could still mean another week or so but I am REALLY hoping we will go before next week's scheduled induction on the 29th (and knowing our track record with Easter the past few years, ie. having to "cancel" because of sickness, I will go into labor this weekend--sorry family!). I gained 4 lbs in one week (holy cow!) but the doctor tells me it is mostly water retention. No kidding... my hands, feet and ankles are HUGE!
