The required rocker picture. I have taken both boys pics in this chair every month of their first year and hope to take a yearly photo for the next few years (or as long as they will let me). ITs amazing to see how much they didn't fill up the chair and now Will's legs hang over the front!!
Our sweetie-pieWill is 3 today-aughhhh!!! The time has gone by so quickly. In my opinion, he decided to mark this momentous occasion with wearing underwear all day (yesterday too) with no accidents and he even went #2 on the potty. We had a whirlwid weekend of birthday parties that I will post about later. HEre are some quick facts about my 3 year old little man:
- He has a mind like a steel trap. He remembers everything! Names, places, events-it all stays in that big noggin of his (so we are always careful of what we promise him because we must follow through)
- He is a sports fanatic and he is very adept at any sport. He can pick up on the nuances after watching it once. Last year, at the height of Brewers baseball craze, he could show you how many of the players stand at bat (how they hold it, what they do with their fingers while they hold it...)
- He definitely has a musical side-one of his favorite shows is "Dancing with the Stars."
- He is not super fond of spaghetti or pizza (and he is related to me?!)
- He loves books
- As gross motor as he is, he is still extremely cautious. He does not like to go down slides or climb up to a high point and then get back down. He definitely hangs back and assesses situations.
- He is an entertainer at home-he makes up songs and dances.
- He is still the love of our lives
