Today we went out for breakfast at Cracker Barrel (which was a bit of a disaster with a 2 year old who is most definitely going through the "terrible twos" in tow) and then headed over to the zoo. Drew rode the ponies for the first time and absolutely loved it! He had no fear and kept saying, "yee hah cowboy" as the pony went in the circle. Will was a little apprehensive to do it when Drew rode (last year he tried it and freaked out the whole time) but decided to be brave and rode it with a big smile--so proud of him! We headed over to the dinosaur exhibit and ended the day with a train ride (the boys favorite). It was a great morning!!

Zoo fun
With Mark on vacation this week, we have been trying to take opportunities to do some things as a family. YEsterday we went to Menomonee Park and swam in the "lake." It has a little beach so Drew was very excited since, for some reason during th epast week whenever we would be getting ready to go somewhere Drew would ask, "go to beach, mommy?" The boys loved it and it only cost us $3-perfect!!
