Deer Sighting

While eating dinner tonight (actually, while eating our ice cream dessert), Mark noticed a deer along the fence in our backyard. Will was very excited to see it and exclaimed, "actually, its a doe" when Mark said "look, a deer." Will was quite sad when the doe eventually ran away (it even distracted him from eating his ice-cream...a miracle) so we explained that it had to leave to go get ready for bed and to take a bath. Will continued to tell us that the doe had to "go home, take bath and put on jammies with mommy." We also had to clarify that no one was going to "boom" the deer ( a nod to Grandpa Kons). Yes, nature at its best.
