Easter Part 2

Happy Easter everyone!!  The boys were up about 5:55 am this morning, eager to look for their Easter baskets.  To put a more religious spin on the Easter basket thing (because honestly, when did this day become all about a big giant rabbit??) I had told the boys the day before that sometimes the Easter bunny hides the baskets to help us remember how the women went to the tomb on Easter morning and could not find Jesus.  They were looking everywhere for him (thanks to a friend at my MOPS group for giving me this great idea).  Mark and I could not believe that the boys went downstairs on their own, found their baskets and didn't come back upstairs to get us until 6:45am--all candy intact!

Nora went down for a quick morning nap and then we were putting on our Easter best to head out for church. 

After church we headed over to my parents house for a yummy easter lunch.  Unfortunately, Mark was feeling pretty terrible so he slept on the couch for part of the afternoon while I took the boys over to the park to play for awhile.
