Our family has decide to sponsor a child through World Vision.  His name is Bayanda, he is 3.5 years old and he lives in Swaziland.  Will and Drew are very excited about Bayanda and we talk about him and have prayed for him since we received our welcome packet last week.

Yesterday, Will decided he wanted to write a note to Bayanda.  His first draft went like this (word for word--spelling and grammar included):

Hi Bayanda,
Tihs is Will  we can't wait to met you  The people in my family are Will Mom Dad Nora Drew

He was quite proud of his letter (as were we) but I had to explain to him that Africa is very far away and if we ever had a chance to meet Bayanda it would be many years away and we didn't want to tell Bayanda things that might not be true.  Will looked thoughtful and went back to his desk.  He came back with one little change:

Hi Bayanda
Tihs is Will  We cant met you The people in my family....

It was so sweet and funny and all around warmed our hearts.  We look forward to our new relationship with a special someone across the world!
